Open Positions:

Technician – Hardscape Installation – Apply

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Hardscape Technician will plan, organize, supervise, and oversee daily operations and activities for residential and non-residential hardscape projects. This role requires the ability to lead and evaluate a team of technicians, inspect and troubleshoot project issues, and ensure quality and efficiency in project execution. Candidate must have previous experience in hardscaping or application will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Plan and execute small- to large-scale hardscape operations.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to design plans, including proper layout and execution of elevations.
  • Crew Supervision:
  • Supervise and actively participate with technicians in preparing and grading terrain using manual and power-operated equipment.
  • Ensure team members use equipment safely and correctly.
  • Maintain professional appearance and behavior among the crew.
  • Hardscape Installation:
  • Install retaining walls using pre-cast retaining wall blocks, cinder blocks, or stone.
  • Build custom fire pits or fireplaces using stone, cinder block, or pre-cast concrete materials.
  • Dig trenches and install drainage systems as needed.
  • Customer Service & Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand and meet their needs.
  • Ensure properties are left in pristine condition upon project completion.
  • Equipment & Site Management:
  • Oversee proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance of company grounds and equipment.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL license preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the hardscape industry directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Competency in reading plans, understanding elevations, and ensuring project designs are accurately executed.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $25.00–$35.00/hour (based on experience).
