As part of the design, Blue Spruce worked with a builder to construct a custom outdoor pavilion and then installed a full kitchen and grill, allowing the family to enjoy outdoor meals in any weather. The homeowners envisioned a resort-like retreat where they could relax, entertain, and enjoy the outdoors year-round. With features like an integrated swimming pool, multiple fire elements, an outdoor kitchen, and hot tub areas, Blue Spruce took this project from concept to completion, creating a backyard sanctuary the family could live in.

The family wanted an area to entertain guests, lounge poolside, and cook meals while enjoying the natural surroundings. Partnering with River Pools of the Capital Region, they installed a large swimming pool with an integrated tanning ledge and plenty of patio space for lounging and dining.

The kitchen was upgraded from a standard grill island to a full cinder block structure with a natural stone veneer, adding durability and aesthetic appeal. Each project phase was carefully timed to ensure all elements—from the pool to the pavilion—were installed efficiently without hindering access for future phases.
